just a reminder....check your tire pressure
i rode into work this morning, and i was taking a right hand sweeper, and the bike kept wanting to step out on me. i knew right then by the way it felt, it was low on air....when i got to work, i checked it. there was 12 psi in it....:eek

Just one question how did you not notice the tire practically deflated when you sat on it? I mean I think if it was at 12psi I would notice.

i am not that heavy, so i could not really notice it. moreover, i used to ride my stuntbike at that pressure, so when i was trying to corner, i knew right away that it was low.

Now the next question.......WHY was it that low?
Better check for punctures, dude.

Funny you should mention this, my bike was handling a little weird the other night in the turns, and sure enough I was down to 27 lbs front and rear. I haven't been riding a whole lot, but I better make sure to check them after she sits for awhile. But it's never happened before though. Hmmmmm...

What is the ideal air pressure? I have michelin tires (the stock ones) and they had 42psi when I bought the bike.

check the left side of the swing arm, or the tire wall for proper pressure.
