Default clutchless shift

While shifting from 3rd to 4th w/o the clutch, there are sometimes when it won't go no matter what. Other times at the same speed and RPM it goes in beutifully and very smoothly, what would cause this??

You gotta preload the shifter and let off the throttle a little more.

Im in the middle of trying that in my racing at first it does feel quicker shifting but you have to roll off a lot to get the next gear and have started to hear a little strange noise from the gearbox with the clutch out in neutral so until I can afford a quickshifter il be using the clutch going up and down it is quicker if you get used to using the clutch-throttle-gear lever at the same time using two fingers even if you only pull the clutch halfway its better than none at all, gearboxes arent cheap!

Sequential gearbox...no need to use a clutch when coming up through the gears...especially under heavy acceleration...just a slight roll off the throttle...then upshift. If done properly, timing is critical, you will see why you want to shift with no clutch
