Default riding with 2 fingers on the clutch and brake?

I have a dirtbike back ground and I always rode with two fingers on the clutch and the brake. Now riding my R6 I do the same. Almost all the time. I have been watching ppl ride and looking at pictures to see what other ppl do(racers). Almost all of them that I see don't keep their fingers on. What is the best way to ride on the street and then for track days.

what's ever comfortable for you. I have the 2 fingers on just as I'm about to brake or change gears.

I cover the brake and clutch most all the time. Usually two fingers as well.

If I'm riding hard I won't cover unless I'm getting ready to brake, then I'll cover a few seconds before I start braking. I usually don't cover the clutch unless I'm starting to down shift.

If you don't have any hadling problems from riding like this, don't worry about it. I've been riding with 2 fingers covering the brake and clutch for the past 12 years, street and track. Just gotta know the right time to use them and when not to.

in the city, i cover both with two fingers, just to be faster if somebody is an idiot. highway or riding the canyons i don't cover them and i adjust between 1, 2 or 3 fingers accordingly

I always cover the clutch....but I find it hard to cover the front brake if I'm changing speeds a lot.
