Default Highspeeds and wind and cross wind..

I was doing about 120 the other day on I95...and there was a constant cross wind from the side...it kept pushing me to the shoulder so i have to fight it back...finally i can no longer bare it and slowed down to 65...wind still pushing a little...is there a way to beat this? Or you should just not speed in windy condition...im guess the wind was like 10-15mph...

just don't fight the bike the wind is going to push you around. let the bike do it's thing. also give yourself more of a cushin if it kept pushing you onto the shoulder move to the left part of your lane. might not be the best idea to fly when it is windy. i have ridden through wind much worse than 10-15mph. i have ridden in 50+ i tell you it's freaky when the bike gets picked up and moved over a hole lane

The best bet is in a high cross wind to not fight the bike but to back it down. Back in the stone age when I was doing the top speed runs on my R6 I found that a crosswind of about 5mph was enough to give me a bad push.

Plus you really don't wanna have the front float just a little and the cross wind sends you into a slapper...That's Game Over Mr. Pac-Man

BTW I-95 was heavily enforced when I was in VA 2002-2003, I would speed there.

Not really anymore, there is this lovely stretch of road in the HOV lane where it's slightly downhill, but straight as an arrow, and you can really see ahead so you can gun it without traffic...winds are scary, and not having grass on the side of the road is scary too...fall and you hit the barrier...
