Default top speed question?

when trying to tap out the r6 should it be in 5th gear or 6th I did a top speed run in 6th and only managed to pull 156 and thats all it had it sat at 156 for like 20 seconds or so. would it give me a higher speed if I was in 5th? this is for an 04 r6 with just a micron slip on as a mod.

I've hit 150 and it seemed I had quite a bit more to go... my bike is completely stock.

There will come a point where the bike jsut does not have the hp to overcome the drag, you probably hit that point.

was that in 5th gear 171? yeah the speedo is correct I have a 70 series front tirer if that would make a difference stock gearing and it was in 6th I think Ill try a 5th gear run in the next couple of days and see where that goes. Iit just did not want to move when it hit 156 at all.
