Default Body position/ something is wrong?

I finally got out today for the first time since my track day in June to work on some things after seeing the track day photo's. I have two questions.

1.) I seem more comfortable turning right than left. Even in the same turns. It's almost funny how much I am dragging my knee on the right. It's addicting. Yet I am not as comfortable turning left and can't figure out why? I seem more unstable and can't get positioned right. My knee only touched once going left and something just doesn't feel right. How can I figure this out? Any tips..

2.) I got in a bad habit of putting ALLOT of pressure on my outside foot peg in turns and putting the pressure just before my heel of my foot were it felt most comfortable. I am now trying to position my foot so the pressure is on the balls of my feet and I can't seem to get comfortable. My foot feels like it is slipping off the foot peg and this seems to cause me to transfer unwanted pressure on my clipons and making me feel unstable.. How exactly should my foot be positioned?

Here are two pics that show how bad my position is. 1st pic shows my upper body and 2nd pic shows my foot position. Today I worked on getting my shoulders off the tank and my head "kissing" the mirrors. It's freakin amazing what a difference it made. I was dragging my knee way, way more than I did on the track. Almost every turn. Even getting on the freeway. If I can get that foot positioned better now..

see how your head is over the tank in the first pic...that is the main problem. It should be to the side almost where your mirros would be

I made some progress working on that today and it did help allot moving it out towards the mirrors.

doing that and it you can get your elbows up off your knees and point them in the direction you want the bike to go..it will help out a ton

Dont worry about your outside foot... do whatever feels good. Its the inside foot that needs to be up, to keep it from dragging and reducing ground clearance.

Tezz, my boots felt the same way at first when I start really putting myself up on the ball of my foot...Eventually my boot developed a dent/hole that hooks really nice and stable.

in regards to your first post, most people are most comfortable turning on one side than the other. its just something that youll have to get used to, kinda like a soccer player learning to use his off foot. just keep practicing and youll get more comfortable with it in time.

On the 1st picture it seems to me, that you sit a bit too close at the tank. I sit approx. on the middle of the seat (or even more to the back when I ride fast). In corners while hanging off my outer elbow rests on the outer side of the tank.

The more you move to the back, the more you can move to the side.

BTW: Your colors are cool.
