ride from SD to SJ, advice please

I'm going to ride from San Diego to San Jose....:\ Anyway what is the best tire pressure i should be at to get maximum mileage for the tire for this trip? I just got the M1's and I don't want to waste 500 miles of it on a ride, well I have to, but I want to minimize the tread wear down the middle. I heard that lower tire pressure allows longer wear? But i always thought it was the higher the pressure, the more miles you could get out of them. any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks!

ouch man! i did something similar to that. sj to la. but its minus the 2 hours from sd to la i guess. the twisties and view were nice... but oh baby... your butt and back will be sore! if you take the 101 to the 1... make sure you bundle up.

When I bought my bike, I had to travel 950 Km... well I really didn't have to, but I got a good price
At one point I even encountered snow !!! ( LOL ! 6 Km in walking speed ), and It took me 16 hours to get home
One thing that this has thought me : Don't underestimate the power of distance

well i made it back..only bad thing was got a ticket during the time..but oh well..i'm safely in sj now.

It is no so long distance. Here in Spain go from north to south
(to JEREZ track) to see GP 125/250/motoGP Gran Prix. It is
980 Km. far from here.The problem is the Police.(ok and you back) jajaja.

yea i got a ticket on the 152...i got excited when a small bit of turns came finally...i was getting so sick of the damn straightness on the 5. i knew there were lots of cops around that area...but i still took that risk..oh well.
