Default When you say the R6 is more "forgiving"..........

What EXACTLY in details are you people talking about when you say the R6 is more "forgiving" then the R1? How does it forgive? Give an example of WHEN an R6 would be more forgiving and lets try to bypass the "too much throttle" talk Im sure to get. I know the R1 has more power.

To some people, the R6 is easier to throw around turns and what not than the 1.

I'd say "forgiving" means the bike is easier to ride and does not respond in a nasty manner to rider input, good or not so good input.

For example, I find the RC51 not very forgiving, it requires you to be more precise.

Ever played golf? A some golf courses punish more harshly a poor shot than others. Some of it is subjective, some objective. Pebble Beach is not forgiving, make a poor shot and you're penalized. Silverado CC is forgiving, make a poor shot and you often get a second chance with no penalty.

I've never ridden an R1, but I suspect it's primarily the tendency to spin the rear and cause you to bail around corners when your throttle modulation is not perfect... Meaning, you give it slightly too much gas, it breaks traction, and you're fucked (like, say, a Viper or some high horsepower RWD car in the rain/snow).

hit a 600cc in a corner you'll speed up.. hit a 1000cc in a corner you'll wheelie at the worst time.. hit a hayabusa in a corner your peel out and either die laughing or just....
