Default Mirror Adjustment

I seem to be having the worst time
adjusting my mirrors. I hate not being able to see
whats comming up behind me. What do you
guys do to remedy this.

with my feet on the ground and standing straight, i see my shoulders on top, elbows at the bottom, and a bit of my torso in them. 1/2 to 1/3 of the mirror is left to see behind if i recall correctly.

I can't stand the mirrors. Never works for me. All I ever see are my elbows, unless I move my head over to look at somethin.

Oh, and off topic, do you have a CRX Si?

Exactly!..All you can see is your
elbows and shoulders. I alwasys read
about riders getting nailed in the rear by
cagers because we never see it coming.
(samr6)..Yep it was my first luv before getting
a 6. And now it takes the #2 spot except for
when it rains lol.

I've got my mirrors adjusted differently... Currently my left is adjusted to see my left elbow and the top of my shoulder (I've finally gotten in the habit of tucking in my elbow <!--EZCODE BOLD START--> before<!--EZCODE BOLD END--> I look in my mirror.) This is just right for me to see behind me when I am sitting in an upright position (or at least as well as I can with the R6 mirrors...) riding or at a stop....

My right is currently aimed a bit lower so I cannot see the top of my right shoulder... This is at the angle to see behind me when I am more tucked in... I hated it when I was leaned over the tank and could only see sky in my mirrors...

It works OK so far for me.. I've only had them this way for a few weeks... I plan on switching the angle of the two around soon to see which side I like in which position better...

I still usually do a head check anyway...

you should always do a head check, even in car... you can't see the totality of what's on your side/rear by just your mirrors.

Err yeah... I was a little too casual with my speech... I do always do a head check...

Although... I think when I am passing a Geo and change into his lane, I don't always check to make sure he hasn't hit the NOS to catch up and not let me over... My bad...
