I have taken this class and really learned a lot and actually this is how I learned to ride a bike. I am wanting to take a corning class, but have no idea on any place that offers them. Does anyone know of any. I am in NC if that helps. Thanks!

Some military bases (specifically Moody AFB in S. GA) offer free MSF classes. I took mine a couple years back in Iowa when I was still in college, but would consider taking the experienced riders course if it is offered when I don't have to ... you know ... work.

It was free in illinois too! Took the class, was basically everything you should know before even getting on a bike. But the class was great, saw huge improvements among my other fellow students. Ended up getting a perfect on everything and am now i am signing up to be an instructor.

I took this course like 4 or 5 yrs ago to get my license. In florida its not free, and if your under 21 they required you to take a MSF course, they just wont let you get your permit, then license(like u can do if your over 21)

I thought it sucked at first when i showed up to the classroom, 3 days, i just wanted to get it over with. but it turned out i actually learned skills there when we trained on those bikes, that i actually still use today. Life saving skills that everyone should learn before even getting on a bike. I'm very happy i took the time to take that course instead of just hopping on a bike and getting my permit.

I'm also in PA so it was free... I also scored a perfect written and riding.

IMO this course should be mandatory. Gets a new rider started with the fundamentals that he or she can then build upon with experience. The learners permit and driving exam alone can not even come close to teaching what this course does.

The instructors were great. They really seemed to care about making sure that each and every student there understood and could put into practice the intent of each exercise.
