Default Spinning on kickstand

Not sure how many people do this trun around say in a driveway, but I am trying to learn how to do this effectively, and I am having some trouble. I read on another forum to put it on the kickstand and turn to the left. The problem is that with my hands on the grips the front tire will hit the ground. If I put more weight on the back I can't get it spinning in the direction I want to go. Any tips?

Put down the kickstand.

Turn the bars all the way left.

Stand on the left side of the bike.

Grab the left grip with left hand and grab the subframe right above the rear brake resevoir.

Pull the bike toward you until its balancing on the front tire and kickstand (rear tire off the ground).

Once the bike is like this you can adjust the weight bias so it is balancing only on the kickstand.

Now you can rotate the bike in either direction. I find that clockwise is easier since youre facing forward.

i know i've seen a stunt show where he ended with a kickstand turn (not the one to maneuver the bike around but while still on the bike managed to drop the kickstand and turn it around on that pivot point)...not a big fan of stunting but that i will admit was impressive.

I assume you have an 05 from your username. As said before, put the kickstand don, turn the bars full left. Then grab the exhaust tip (might be hot if just finished riding) and walk the back of bike to the right. Simple.

for my 99 i tried turning the bars to the left no worky

then i tried turning the bars to the right and it worked like a charm who knew

Default how to spin the bike on the kickstand

here, i just made a video for you.
it is done with a 01 R6. can be done with other year r6 and r1s
not recommended for suzukis, ducatis...weak kickstands.

notice the hand positions and the direction the bike spins.
also, the bike is leaned against my hip for support.

edit: video is still uploading

Put the kickstand down, turn the handle bars to the right, lean the bike over til the rear tire is off the ground, both hands on the bars just like your going to push it, pull the bars to you and the front tire will slide on the ground to let you rotate the bike. I do it all the time, 99 R6, 06 CBR600rr, wifes 07 Ninja 250.
