Default crank issues on 2007r6?? anyone?

i have heard that 2007 models had a change to the crank from 2006. ANyone know about this? the issue i heard was the crank was manufactured by another company or something, or the journals are smaller so it is not as strong so if you you build the motor (2mm over lets say) you have crank problems.

also, we have had bearing failures on BOTH 06 and 07's. OUr Superbike R6 has over 137rwhp and it ate a #2 rod bearing...thank god the carrillo held the bearing in place until the rider could shut it off...saved the cases at least.
