sure it wasn't just bent? cause a broken rod would sound like a fucking jack hammer was inside your motor, any backyard mechanic would know that sound can't be fixxed with a little extra oil...
and the disclamimer is just for: (if you bent a rod i bet you did 2 out of the 3, more then once and for more then a mile)
No wheelies
No stoppies
No Highchairs
The following is what it's designed for..
No burn outs
No riding past 90
No abrupt movement
No sudden stops
No Track days
No 1/4 Runs
Anyway... to help you out, dealers are only paid x amount of $$ for certain jobs from yamaha no matter how much work is involved. So they will try to screw you out of something in order to just cover the money they will lose because their mechanic is working on your bike, and not a real paying customer; don't let them.
2nd don't stunt, and you won't blow your engine within a year.

1st off I do know how an engine works, the FAA did find me competent to work an FLY aircraft possibly carrying you and your family with me. 2nd I typed that As the dealer called it, how it sounded "like ass" Call up the dealer and send the mechanic along with the engine in for Yamaha replacement. They said and I quote "BROKEN CONNECTOR RODS" I dont know how they broke when the bike rode FINE, they even rode the bike when I took it there, so I was troubleshooting in the middle of no where by adding oil to see if the sound would go away. YOu do realize that is why i took to a dealer, LOUD NOISE, no power loss, no shut off, no leaks, just a noise from the engine.
3rd, I cant wheelie for a mile much less 2, and 4th for 10k, I should be able to wheelie like this ad here:

I mean Yamaha does do it, ohh wait I did not get the wheelie option, how dumb of me, next bike I will specify give me the engine that will last more than a year.
Listen there count chocula, all I am saying that Yamaha recognized there shit failed after a year, and guess what I WONT BE THE LAST.
