Default Recall for 03 R6

A friend of mine just called me and told me that his 2003 R6 has a recall for the nut that goes on the small sprocket? I never heard of this recall so I called up my local Yamaha dealer and it is true. There is a recall out going for 03 R6's small sprocket nut. Something about the nut possibly falling off. If you have a 03 then you can call your dealer and give them your VIN and they can check and see if you have that nut installed. Of course since it is a recall, it is free of charge. Only thing is they have to install it. They wouldn't just give me the nut to let me install it myself.

Yeah, i just found out about this. Its actually on more than just the 03, i think it covers 02-05. Two friends of mine had theirs fall off on their 02's.
