Default do all of the bulletin coils for 03 say "DENSO" across the top?

My bike is acting like the coils are going bad. After I run it hard and sometimes when I don't it dosent want to idle and it runs really rough until about 4000 rpm. Does this sound like coils??

My coils dont say DENSO across the top

The dealer wants to charge me to see if they are even the bulletin coils.

Bastards...

They can only charge you if yours have already been replaced. Tell them to refer to TSB M2003-019

If they havent, then they cant charge you. If they try to, call Yamaha and report them.

And yes, the denso are the bad ones. Get them swapped for Mitsubishi coils for free.

Damn. I guess mine have already been replaced. They have a clearish white top and don't say denso . How much do coils run anyway?

I'm guessing you have an 03 since your talking about the coils, but it sounds like you may have a TPS issue. If it will not hold idle sometimes TPS is more than likely the problem. Refer to this thread for a how-to on cleaning it:
