Story goes ike this, kind of long-
From day one there was a small click in my throttle but never thought too much of it. Bike rode great so I figured no worries.
Finally one day service was slow (I work at the shop) so I had them look at it. (Figured it's under warranty why shoudl I waste my time working on it.They pulled the throttle tube off and checkedd for any burs (sp) and found nothing wrong. They lubed the crap out of the cables and it actually got worse.
Now there was no click but the throttle was very sticky and if you barely turned the throttle it wouldn't close or if it did it was very very slow to close.
SO I rode it for the weekend thinking that maybe the lube just needed to work its way around.
Well nothing got better so friday they pulled the tank and airbox to replace the cables but when checking the cables they worked fine. They tracked the problem down to e tube behind the peice that the cables connect to. The tube turns the servo that opens the T/B's.
Well the head tech pulled it aprt polished up the shaft used some redline assembly lube and throttle works like butter.
Service manager calls Yaml to get a few hours warranty money for fixing it and the guy was like oh no, no way get those off that bike we can't risk that bla blah.
So they say they will send a complete new set of T/B's and want them replaced.
No t/b's in the US they are pulling them from the assembly line in Japan and having them sent ASAP.
Just thought I'd share incase any one else notices a similar issue on there 06
