Default Will R-55 fit TRC Headers?

Hi, I have a TRC full system on my 06 R6, and would like to just purchase an R-55 Slip on. Does anyone know if it will fit on with the TRC headers? Thanks, Ryan

the full-system headers are identical between the R55 and TRC systems. to use the R55 muffler, you'll need the muffler and tailpipe, PNs 1104285-RMA for the carbon fiber end cap or 1104286-RMA for the stainless steel end cap, and 1362085-CMA for the tailpipe.

if you have a t handle hook that works the best to take the silencer out, I'll post a pic later of what the tool looks like. Also, the box thats mounted under your seat is for the EX-UP. you will loose a little bit of midrange without it. LEAVE the box connected to your bike, but take the cables out of the box to ensure you dont get a check engine light. I have a custom map for a trc full bmc race filter and a 520 stock gearing if anyone wants it... oh... and the silencer with the gold magnesium ring just slide out, its MUCH easier to take out when the pipe is still new... Just get a t-handle 90degree or so hook on the end of it and there should be a place to tap the thandle to just slide it out...

Even if Yoshimura produced a titanium version you would be looking at a $1400+ price tag. For that much I would go Akrapovic because of quality and performance. I think the graves setup is probably your best bet.
so from what i take on this 5 page thread is the yoshi worth it or not? i dont want to waste $800 on a full system if a guy who worked there said it isnt worth it and doesnt recommend it. i love the yoshi looks, but everyone know you buy a full system for performance. what is you takes on this exhaust for the 06-08 R6????

Default r77

Hi,

I have an 05r6 with a full rs3 system. I love the way the r77 mufflers look. It doesn't look like Yosh makes the r77 for the r6. Would it be possible to just order the r77 muffler and hanger and swap it out with the rs3 muffler on my r6? Are the mid pipe the same diameter? Thanks in advance.

Just installed a Yoshi tri-oval carbon fiber slip-on for my 2006 R6 raven. I want to keep my Yoshi looking shiny. What's the best way to keep the carbon fiber clean on my exhaust? Should I wax it...or is plexus better & safer for carbon fiber?

Default TRC high exit

Well i just got my TRC full system for my 05 and i have to say its a beautiful peice indeed. But one thing i didnt do much research on was the fact that i have to remove the pasenger peg for the new bracket. this leaves me in a dilema because WHERE IS MY CHICK GUNNA PUT HER FOOT AT LOL. I know you might have answered this before but i was hoping there was an alternative bracket or maybe something i could do to keep the peg on there. thanks.

GT-R, for the carbon fiber, just use a mild soap and warm water to keep it clean. make sure that it doesn't sit in the sun for too long either. our carbon fiber uses a UV protected resin already, but over long term exposure it will still break down.

Raven605, for the high-mount system, unfortunately there isn't a replacement for the passenger peg. that system was specifically designed to remove that peg. sorry!

got a real quick question. i want to get rid of my CAT. my idea is to get a slip on, get rid of the cat, and get a PCIII. problem is, i talked to a guy here, and he said they don't make mid pipes for the 07R6, so i'm looking at getting a Y pipe fabricated 2 into 1 so i can get around paying for a full system. anyone have any thoughts?
