Default Want HID's on my 07 R6, want some suggestions.

First off, its an 07 R6 in case you didnt read the title.

I want to get an Hid Kit to put in my bike.

my questions are

1. what are the bulb sizes, H7 right?

2. i want to get an 8000k for lo and 10000k for hi, what do you think bout that setup and are there kits that come in two where i can mix or should i buy two singles for that?

3. and finally i heard on another thread you can put a relay in there somewhere to delay the startup of the light so if my battery not too strong it wont pull all the power for the lights on startup, how would i do that?

any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

just take your bulbs out. they will have the size stamped on them.

i dont know why you would want to mix colors. you will have one light be white with a little hint of blue, and one solid blue. I think that would look pretty ugly. Just my opinion though. The 8000k and 10,000k arent like candlepower. it is the color temperature. i think 6000k is basically pure white. 8000k is pale blue. 10000k is solid blue. 12000k is purplish blue.

also, you should look at putting in projectors. my roommate has an 06 1000rr with HIDs. without the projectors, the light scatters everywhere and almost seems a bit dangerous to me.

go look at that listing. never dealt with the guy, but it may be good quality

I have 8000K in my 07 and love them, I would not mix them like that it would not look good, but if you want the most light out of it go with 4000k that is the most output of light

Check out www.xenonrider.com

I have ordered from them many times and you can mix and match and they have great quality and great customer service. I would look there first. Just my .02
