08 tank on 07 model

hey guys , ive got an 2007 race bike with a crushed tank thanks to a front end lose , i found a 08 tank thats cheap , i know the shape is different , but will the tank fit up ok .

The tank will mount up ok, however you will have 2 main issues.

1 You will need to use the 08 style black plastic tank sides.

2 The 06-07 R6 style seat will not match up perfectly with the new tank. It will work, but will not be perfect.
