Default Windscreen removal

Ok I have checked everywhere for a post and can not find my answer so hold down the flames...
So How do you remove the windscreen from an 08 R6S

I get the mirror removal and the mid screws but was wondering if there is a nut that I am going to lose if I unscrew the two lower screws on the windscree?

Again I apologize to what would seem like an obvious answer but just can not find it myself.

thanks in advance.

If it's similar (not 100% sure) to the 06/07, the well nuts won't 'fall out' when you remove the fasteners (thankfully). You will have to be careful when removing the windscreen though, as you have to wiggle it around a little to get it out and the well nuts have a tendency to come out. I found mine ('07) harder to install the new 'screen in (while keeping the well nuts in) than removing the stock screen.

I am not sure about the 08 but on the 07 there is two screws that are by the gauges on either side facing forward that after removing those it was much easier to lift the fairing to slide the windscreen out.

I just replaced my windshield with a zerogravity sport touring one, its easy and took me like 15 minutes. First thing I did was took the mirrors off, opened up the plastic around there. Then I took off the 4 screws but you have to be really gentle with them cause they are easy to strip and damage. I then just wiggled the old one out gently. Then I took the rubber threaded mounts and popped them into all the holes which had a snug fit. Once I had them in, I started to line the windshield up in the fairing and losely started screwing in te bolts and putting the clips up by the mirrors in. Once I had everything lined up to my liking I tightened the bottom 2, then the top 2, and then I put the mirrors back on. It was real easy...

I have an 07 R6s.... Any R6s is going to be almost like an 03-05 R6
