+ 4 ignition star problem Help !!!

I have a 2003 R6 and i got PC III micron pipe v staks slide stops and bmc race filter and i put the factory pro ignition star and when i put the bike in Diagnostic mode by holding the reset and salect button in the tach and put the key on for 10 sec i go to mode 60 i get a code 12 that in the repair manual mens crankshaft position sensor can any one tell me if the get the same thing with your factory pro +4 star in yours or is my crank sensor gone bad Thanks a lot for any Help !
