Default How do I measure the floats?

Hello,

I'm in the middle of fitting my Ivan's Jet Kit. I'm a bit stumped by how I measure the 3mm - 3.5mm float level & how to adjust it. Can someone please explain it to me. Also, the part with a minimum of 2 washers on the needles, & how to adjust them is also puzzling me.

Has anyone got any diagrams of how to perform this task.

I need help please,

Thanks in advance!

to adjust them you just bend them up or push them down.. measure how high the float sticks up from where the bowl seals together.. let the float hang free then tilt the carb until it just starts to rest.. if you flip it completely upside down it will compress a little and not be an accurate height measurement.. sorry this is not the best description

There used to be a good pic and description of method for setting float level on the factory pro website. The trick is tipping the carbs into the correct position/angle while measuring.
