new grips wont stick
I put some new grips on from progrip and the one on the clutch side stuck just fine, but the throttle grip doesnt seem to want to stick to the plastic tube, I used a contact cement on both sides and cleaned before with alcohol and everything, i just tried putting it on again so ill see how it sticks this time, anyway, anybody have any good suggestions to get it to stick like a champ? am i retarded?

Wouldnt the clutch side be more likely to slip if the grips are reversed since thats the smaller side?
You could try safety wiring them.

+1. You shouldn't have to use any kind of adhesive on your grips. Just clean them out with soap and water and make sure they're wet when you put them back on. When they are fully dry, They won't move around on the clip-ons.

All good info, I rode to work this morning and I re-did the right grip yesterday and so far it seems solid, i think what happened is that they are just a hair too long for the clip-on and when i tightened the bar end back on it pushed the rubber away from the surface so it couldnt adhere, i'm just gonna cut a tiny bit off the end and i think i'll be good. Thanks guys!
