Default 2006 R6 Hard Shifting WHY?!! :(

Hey guys, well about 3 months ago. I did a post of a new bike i had just bought, awesome bike! 06 R6 but after like 3 days of riding it it became difficult to shift the damn thing into 2nd gear and some times 3rd. When i would stop at a light it was hard to shift it into neutral such that i would have to kick it in a way that it would jump to neutral anyhow. There was a suggestion that i do an oil change. I did the oil change and switch over to synth 10w30 amsoil. And now shifting to Neutral is easy and the way its supposed to be. But its still a little hard to switch from 1st - about 5th gear, i have to nudge it 2 times for it to shift, sometimes if i shift the pedal hard enough it, it acts like it doesnt want to and then shifts, kinda of like it reaches a sublevel... the shift. I dont know if the oil needs to be in the bike a little longer and ridden more to get everything running fine. Also i forgot to add when i did the oil change the oil was blackkkkkk as hell! Thank Goodness its been freshly replaced with oil and a new filter. Anyhow i dont know how to approach this. Im scared to be going 60+ shifting fast and letting go of the clutch after revving high and getting knocked off the bike, happened once to me but i always able to control it and not fall off i definitely took a crap. Any Ideas?

Thanks!

Difficulty with shifting can be caused by many things. Oil issues, clutch out of adjustment, bent shift forks/shaft or damaged gear dogs. I don't remember your new bike post and don't know if you bought it used. In my case, unless I purchase from a trusted source, I only buy street bikes new. You just know what people put them through. You've changed the oil so how about checking clutch adjustment? The 06 is cable actuated right? Clutch adjustment is covered in the manual and I believe it's in the how to's as well. Now, if that does not fix the problem, it may be time to dig deeper...

Whoa, wait a minute. I left out the word "don't". When you buy a used bike you DON'T know what it's been put through. Just wanted to make sure that was clear.
