Moisture and crap accumulating. How long was it sitting?

Change the oil and filter asap.

Are these the syptoms of a blown head gasket. I changed the oil and could actually see green coolant beads as I the oil drained. Is this the sign of a blown gasket, cracked block, water pump seal???? Motor runs great but has collant issue. Thanks for the help. Hope I can fix without paying $$$$$$$

well if you buy the parts and do it your self then you wont spend that much... but to figure out the source of the problem thats the hardest part.. it could be some where around the head gasket or some where around the cooling line in the engine itself... hopefully its just a head gaket issue... if engine crack is the source then go to e-bay.

what causes a blown headgasket? Build up in pressure? any visible sign from the exterior part of the motor?

In order to replace the head gasket. Do I need to drop the engine? Or is it possible to go through the top? Thanks

sometimes a build up in pressure can do it... but what causes the build up in pressure? Check your crank case breather to see if it is kinked or blocked off in any way. This can cause a build up in crank case pressure which can show up in multiple ways.

there are other ways the head gasket can go... maybe just a defective or incorrect install from the factory, etc.

I would pull the motor, put it on a good stand that allows you to turn it every which way. Trying to screw around with it inside the bike maybe a bigger pain the arse than its worth... I don't even know if there is room to pull the head out of there from the top any way!

Also, get a good torque wrench. I highly recommend Snap-On ones with the thumb wheel on the side (not the spring loaded handle) or a Snap-On electric torque wrench. Expensive, but will make the re-assembly go much better. Snap-on even makes an electronic torque wrench with a built-in degree function for fasteners that require a torque + angle... examples of such fasteners are head studs, cam bearings, main bearings, and connecting rod bearings.

When I have the engine removed. Does the very top gasket have a role in channeling the coolant or does this gasket just keep oil in? (Cylinder head cover gasket) Could it also be possible the Cylinder head gasket is damaged? Are both of these gaskets involved in seperating coolant from oil?
