nope nothing wrong with that, you can jump it. BUT the truck CANNOT be on. just connect the cables as normal but don't start it. you'll overdo your bike's electrics and you've got a bigger problem on your hand.

i would try shooting some carb/fuel injector cleaner into the throttle bodies. might be some gas that has gummed up.

yup chain and sprockets (both of them) go hand in hand. if one goes the other goes with it.

basically its because you put a new chain on old worn sprockets the chain will conform to that wear and prematurely wear down as well, and vice versa with sprockets then chain...

you'd actually be spending more money on chain and sprockets if you just got one at a time. get yourself a nice chain and sprocket set.

did/ek good chains and afam/renthal/vortex are good sprockets in my experience

nope.. you might want to read the manual for what type of anti-freeze.....you use on your bike.. and i would recommoend you using water wetter in a clear bottle with a long neck... the liquid is pink.. and its about $10- $11 a bottle and you can have one and use it for a good 2 to 3 years... i mean if you do flush your coolant every 6 months it would last you longer... all you need is a good gallon of water ( i preferer drinking water that you can buy for $2 a gallon) and 16 caps the bottle's cap of water wetter ... and you'll still have extra about an eight of the gallon or so.. i recommend you using this because more track rider use watter wetter.... it actualy have good result you can use it in cars too... or just go the forum HOw to!!!
And for your chain and sprocket yeah buy it all together.. check the sponsors on the left they all got good price on a set of chain and sprockets...

why not just save some hassle and buy 2 jugs of premixed 50:50 ethylene glycol-based antifreeze? That's all the manual recommends and they generally use distilled/deionized water in the premixes.

If you're not in a huge hurry, I think you should just get a normal trickle charger and charge the battery. A jump start is only going to last you so long since the battery doesn't charge itself while riding the way a car does so you'll have to charge it soon regardless. Plus even with the car off, you're still gonna be pushing more current into the bike battery/electrical system than it likes. It only takes 10 hours (aka: overnight) to trickle charge at the recommended 1 amp so unless you need to ride today, it might be better in the long run.

You might also want to consider a fuel system cleaner in case that 2-year-old gas has left some gunk build-up in the engine and, though I admittedly have no idea how to check for this, i've heard the tires can develop soft spots if left resting on the same spot for prolonged times.
