Default Repair or replace?

So when I purchased my bike it came with some rash from the previous owner and now I would like to get it fixed. So the question is would it be cheaper to find a body shop and have them repair it, or would I be better off just swapping it out? Here's a pic of my fairing...

It depends, my roomate hit his bike with his car, he is retarded, and it cracked the fairing, a gsxr600, so he got it plastic welded and painted, but only in the affected area for like $70, had it done at a little shop around here. it just depends on what kinda deal you can get on either one, do some fishing!
