Default Unusually issue at high RPM's -need help!

2003 R6- 15,000 miles - fresh oil - fresh filter - fresh plugs -500 miles ago - ignition coils replaced 800 miles ago

Power commander - custom mapped to match modified 07 can added.

Bike idles and runs perfect.....getting up above 10,000 R's it feels as though the gears(meaning trans gears themselves not shifting gears) are slipping. Kinda like clunk clunk clunk - with a hard jerking feeling...let off it goes away immediately.

I checked my oil seems slightly higher than regular. Just above top line. Oil is clean.

Haven't put in a clutch yet.....but that would make the R's just race up.....right?

Any help is appreciated. - Thanks Joe

if you havent done a clutch before, i wouldnt be surprised if you needed one.. find yourself an inclined road and get in fourth gear at like 8k ish and get on it.. see if rpms rise disproportionally to your speed..

Default Shared problems

I have the same issues & I've already done my clutch.
If you find out anything let me know.
I took it to a shop & they trying to locate the problem.
No luck yet.
I'll post if they find out what it is.

if its a clutch issue here is how you will know:

you will accelerate hard and depending on how bad your clutch is depends on where it slips (ie little wear slips near redline, lot of wear slips almost immediately)

anyways you accelerate and if your clutch is slipping the bike will disengage and will rev it self. pretty much like you pulled in the clutch and rev the engine.

i doubt its the clutch since you have a jerking feeling as a slipping clutch wouldn't have a jerk/klunk at all.

good luck
