'99 R6 undiscoverable problems :(
I am having the same problem as others. My bike used to turn over, but I couldnt move it without it dying on me. Eventually, after trying over and over again to start it, It stopped turning over. After inspecting why it wouldnt start, I realized my Recertifier connection was melted (literally) so I did the "how-to" and rewired the connection, but it didnt solve my problem.
I was told to check my starter, and I found out that the carbon brushing was grinded down. Today I replaced the brushing and reinstalled it to my bike. Still though, no tuning over. Im tired of spending money on batteries, and starter repairs. I want to hear your ideas on what the problem can be. I really need my bike running again. Its been out of commission for about 3 weeks now. Please reply to this and let me know what you think.
