tiny air bubbles on my dipstick

sup,

so i noticed when i checked my oil that there seems to be a bunch of tiny air bubbles on the dipstick...its not over/under filled, that im sure....any ideas what that might be?

Mine has had that since day one. Do you do a lot of hard riding, high RPM's etc...?

what kind of oil are you using.. it sounds like its foaming which is not good.

is your bike running hot? how is the coolant level?

hopefully its not a head gasket.

I just checked mine and I'm seeing the same thing, never noticed it before. I haven't had mine long enough to really notice it before but mine definetly has what you have. I would like to know what it means as well!

Specific to Deimos's questions above, my bike is not running hot based on my temp guage and my coolant is in good shape as well.

As long as the oil level is good and the bike isn't over heating then i wouldnt worry too much about it.

10w40 dino oil.
