Come On man, it not that bad. Reach down like you got a pair...haha no really I was the same way. I was cleaning the bike, and I had in front end tore down. I remembered reading that if you bake the headlight housing, you can remove the front lens cover. It that point I figured I'd do the headlight conversion.

ok here's an idea, can you make the cuts before putting it in the oven and bending it? cause i dont think i can make the cuts perfectly if the rods were bent.

You can do that if you want. The only thing is that when you start to bend the rods you need to make sure that the cuts are all in line and not twisted. Its just like if you use the hex. rod instead of a round rod. And the outter parts of the cuts will be spread out further than the inside cuts which will be closer together. It should not change the purpose for the cuts. Just make sure your rod does not twist when you start to bend them.

This will work on a 99-02 headlight set as well right?

99-02 does not have a projector.......so there would be nothing to attach it to/put it around.

I'm sure High Bimmin can answer this better.....but I'm pretty sure he retrofits the back of an 03-05 assembly onto the back of the 99-02 assembly. By doing this, it gives the 99-02 headlight the projectors of the 03-05 headlight. With it having the projectors.....you can put Angel Eyes on it.

Yep thats the basic idea behind it. Its just a bitch to cut and get lined up correctly. Took me like 3 headlights to get right.
