Well...
even with the gain program, my setup isnt loud enough because I tried to cheat... I place my speakers inside the cheek pad itself, right in front of my ear... not in the earl well itself...
It was so comfortable this way, you couldnt tell a difference at all, but I cant hear it above 40MPH.... so I'm gonna velcro the speakers into the earwell like someone above just mentioned....

yep, i did that, but be careful, if your helmet is tight before, it will hurt like a bitch to take off and on.. i could hear things crystal clear at 100 mph, but eventually my ears started hurting so bad on my 2 hour ride home i had to take them out.. i'm thinking about maybe carving spots for them in they styrofoam (butchered that spelling ) idk, didn't have time to work on them today..
hope ur helmet fits ya a bit better and you should be golden!

you would be surprised at how well it works. i mean, its obviously not going to be the best sound youve ever heard but you can hear whatever your playing over the wind.

For the volume dude, do you have your MP3 player ALL the way up? $9 WalMart speakers should too loud to put on your ears at full blast, you may have other problems.

I bought an I-Jet for 28 bucks it is a wireless remote for the ipod. I velcroed it to the handlebars and you can adjust volume, skip tracks or pause/play. It has a 150 foot range and the remote works without haviing to point it to the ipod.

I thought I was a genius when I put my earphones in my helmet! lol I am getting that remote for sure though. The only problem I ever had was winding out the gears leaving stop signs/lights. Still can't judge by the RPM's. But the remote will fix that problem! Uhm anyone got any good ideas about hiding the wire? My nano is a bit too big to fit comfortably inside the helmet. Great site guys!

I'm thinking about it, still not getting it. If it's okay to apply makeup, eat a burger, shave, read the newspaper, call my buddies and just to be fair, install six 15 inch woofers and 5,000 amps of audio assault in the back of a rusted out Honda accord that vibrates so bad the oversize aftermarket wing falls off the trunk, are headphones really htat big of a deal? Cruisers and bikers in general have been runnig two-way radios for years and even the PushToTalk devices that use headphones and mics have MP3 and cell phone inputs so I can talk and get run off the road at the same time. So explain to me again why an Ipod Shuffle and a set of headphones is anymore illegal then any of that?

I've got an I-Jet as well that I velcro'd onto the inboard edge of the LH mirror. I initially mounted it to a tether on my key chain so I could velcro it the Triple tree, but it was impossible to adjust wearing gloves, and impossible to see when I had a tank bank. Not that seeing it is required, but certainly helps when you can't feel the buttons. I've had it now for about 2 years and over 5,000 miles of use. Sometimes it acts up, but overall I would recommend the product. Haven't had any luck with the AirClick that someone else had posted, so I have nothing to compare it to.
