wont work on a shoei rf-1000
I just attempted this on a Shoei Rf-1000 model using some Koss KSC-75 ear phones.
No luck! That helmet interior is sealed very tight, hardley any holes or gaps. when i finally found a small open space the speakers take up so much room that it pushes and binds your ears or temple. I tired all kinds of avenues to run the wires and places to put the speakers.. just couldent ever get it to work good enough to use. I even sanded and cut down the speaker plastic housing for a flush fit.
My lid fits tight, but no tighter than it should. if anyone is successful fiting speakers into this model id like to know!

Hey Tuscanijon,
Can you shed some light on what i might of done wrong? It would be great if you could take a quick pic of the speaker locations and wire runs...
Thanks!

In Cali I'm pretty sure that the requirement is only one ear is aloud to have speaker. Could be wrong, but thats what I was told.

I have been fighting with this for so long Im glad that you posted this...I will doing that this weekend...Im wondering what you would recommend for the IPod Nano. I cant figure out where to put so that I can control the song list. In a tighter pair of jeans Im pretty much ok, but anything that has deep pockets, forget it...I cant feel the controls.

Adjust the volume level of the song.
IE...iTunes allows you to raise the level of the song from the normal level it is recorded at to a higher level. That creates the new "normal".....and you can raise it even more when you adjust the volume level on the mp3 player.
You may have to search around for a program to do it with...I'm not sure what software you use...and I'm feelin lazy right now.
SORRY.

the program you want is called MP3 gain, you can get it at http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net/download.php
88 is about normal, you can jack it up to a level of like 95 but the clipping starts to get noticable.
