2006 r6 gear indicator install?

I have an 06 r6 (not smodel), anybody know what wires are used to install a gear indicator? I have the kind you have to solder in......help/pics?

Looking for same info really for a European model as have one of these also. before I send the wiring into a local place to do the job and remove all the stuff I don't need on the race bike.
