Default turn low bean OFF 04 r6 ? help

hi

sorry if this is in the wrong place on ther forum :S

i want to iknow if there is a way ti turn the low bean headlights off while the bike is running. (2004-yzf-r6)

i know there was a site called sports bike hot to where you could buy a dvd, but it doesnt seem to exist anymore nor does highbeamin.com

i am thinking about buying the angel eye kit from ebay but was thinking the eye lights will look rubbish with one osde of the head lights on so it would be good if there was a way to turn them off.

also i am sick to death of riding down the road or starting my bike up out side a shop and some one saying , yo mate you got a bulb out! :S

THANKS
DENE

If you want to turn the low beams off...it's pretty easy. On the left side of the bike, there are two black (look more like a dark gray) wires that go into the headlight....splice one of them. Attach each half of the wire to a switch. Mount switch.

Done.
