Default How To: 06 R6 V.3 Speedohealer Install

Hey guys, I know there are others of the same, but I had a little different twist than the other how to's I saw on here.

My how to is not exactly a step by step, because the others provide that, however, the more pics the merrier.

First things first.

How do we want to source the power?

This works if you don't care about the liscense plate light

Well, if you have a fender elimiator and the old space ship lying around somewhere like I did,

Take the red circled connector from the wire of your old liscense plate holder.

Next, find a spot you'd best like your speedohealer to be and velcro it, run the wire and connect it to the speed sensor.

Now the last step before programming it is to source the power.

Remember that connector we took? Clean out the old wire as best as you can (not all of it can come out as it is pretty secure but don't worry)

Grab some pliers and place the exposed wire part of the speedohealer in the end part of the connector where the old wire was and squeeze.

Heat shrink the wire, and plug it into the liscense plate light plug. Now you can say your speedohealer is truely plug and play!

Hope it helps!
