replacing pass. seat lock

ok so mine broke and how can i replace it so that it works with my key??? may be a stupid question but oh well.

how do you know it "broke?"

i thought mine broke as well but the cable just came out of the cam. if thats the case just put it back. problem solved.

if it actually is broken, buy a new cable and put one end in the cam where the key goes, route the cable through the subframe/rear bodywork to the other cam to open the pass seat.

pretty easy either way, only one costs more

also this is for a first gen, but the process is relatively the same all around.

mine is an '05 and it broke b/c i lowsided today lol. the whole lock mechanism broke off...it has nothing to do with the cable.

check mrcycles.com to see what you need to replace.

on mine if that happened i would need to replace the entire battery box, but im sure thats not the case with yours.

ya but how will it work with my key? do i have to give them the vin or somethin???
