05' r6 wheel compatibility

Hey you guys. I was just wondering if anyone knows if there are any other rims/wheels that fit an 05' r6? like from other makes or if any r1 rims work...

all 03-08 wheels are the same...only the rotors change for certain years

between R6's or for all R6 and R1's. Looking at an 07-08 R1 wheel for my 06 R6, that's why I'm chimming in.

thanks for the reply. yeah, i knew that 03-08 r6 wheels are all the same but i was wondering if anyone knew if any other makes work for the r6 front rim? like hondas or whatnot.

the reason why i am asking is because it would make the replacement rim search a lot easier.

Rear Rims for 03-08 R6 are all the same

05-08 R6 fronts will all work (though the rotor carrier on the 05 is different)

Plus these wheels are a dime a dozen out there and your search should be easy... Ebay, WERA, CCS, MRA etc web sites have lots of them.

The rotor carrier on an 05 is different but NOT the wheel. Wheels for 03-08 are the exact same wheels. However 05 had a slightly different rotor carrier but the rotor size and mounting is the same as 06-08. So you can use any wheel 03-08 and rear rotors are also the same. However 03/04 front rotors are same and 05-08 rotors will work for any bike 05-08.
