been a long long time since i posted here... Been away doing some things in the middle east...
Back now and safe.
Moving on. I originally posted here because my 2002 R6 suffered at the hands of some pretty average work by a Yamaha Service team in NSW Australia.
After some lengthy negotiation and tooing and frowing between Yamaha Australia's head sheds and a local Dealership (Yamaha Moorooka, Brisbane, Australia) I not only got the cost of the crankcase halves covered by Yamaha Australia (i just had to pay for labour) but they also sold me my 2008 R6 for $2600AUD...
I nearly fell over with the service i received.
So a big thanks to Yamaha Australia, Team Moto Yamaha Moorooka and Yamaha in general for making such a dead sexy bike...
Also to Member Old Dogg on here. Who was going to send me a set of crank case halves from the USA.
The person who received my 2002 R6 after all the service, heart ache getting it back on the road and my trade in on the 2008 model wrote it off they day after they bought it... Luckily for that person I have never met them yet, but the head sales at Moorooka told me, i nearly shed a tear...
Guess thats what happens when people go from scooters to race bikes. Wanker!
