depends on how you ride. i went through a tank in 85 miles cause i was riding hard and there was allot of straights(hit 140 3 times). i think the yamaha states 38 miles to the gallon, which should be about 170 miles per tank.

I get 180-200 miles on a tank putting in 3.8gal. That's 47-53 MPG for me and I run it pretty good when I can.

my 99 gets 150-160 mi till the fuel light comes on. I usually ride between 5-8K rpm and it takes about 3.5 gallons to fill her up.

thanks all, very helpful ,just get out on it once a week , and therefore revin the bag out of it, getting around 100-120 miles
