Take a it to a suspention guru... its not just clicking and dialing.. things and hopfully you figure it out.. go to a track day event they always have a suspention guy .. you dont even have to go to ride it on the track. but it would be nice to do so... or atch Kieth Code Suspention set up guide google it... its hard to do adjust ment trhought the net....

i have alsort for my suspension set up and just returned it to the stock setup but i think due to ware it not quite as it was new i think do u think the sliding in my back end could be due to tyres i have the dunlop d208 at the momet and i get a sliding sensastion every now and again when riding out for a while been told it may be as my tyres are cooling down quick and iam getting a hot and cold spot ???

tire might be cold... all i know about Dunlop is you have to really do a good run on it to get it to the right temp.... or change tires... try somthing different ... i'll recomend Corsa3, pilot power 2ct or bt002rs or the bt016 .... by the way what type of riding you doing?? canyons or freeway/street death wish??

for tire size go with front: 120/70 rear 180/55 or if you like it a little wide a 190/55

alright well i have a 99 and have been experminting on my bike for quite a while now. this is what i have and its only a beginning for you. its going to be different for everyone and every road/track.

first off tires (very important): Michelin Pilot Powers 120/70 x 180/55
also if you go to 70 in the front make sure you compesnate for the change in the geometry by lowering the bike 6-9mm (the forks will go UP the triples)

front--
preload 5 lines
top - 2 clicks from full hard
bottom - 7 clicks from full hard

back
pre- 3 from full hard
top- 7 clicks from full hard
bottom- 12 clicks from full hard

my weight WITH gear is 183 lbs. (not stones )

that should be a good starting point for you. its a little rough on the highways so you might want to go one or two clicks more towards soft. but it feels good on our backroads and track.
