Default 08 R6 TIRES

ALRIGHT I HAVE A QUESTION. I have 3700 miles on my bike and its already time for a new tire. Granted I have spent a LOT of time on my back tire, and the tires drive as though I am glued to the road, but I expected more miles than that. Its pretty much par from what I've seen of those Qualifiers though. So here is my question. I want a tire that gets better mileage, but I can still drag knee on safely. Let me hear your thoughts and preferences. I almost sold on the Pilot Power dual compound with the exception of the sticker shock. Thinking of going with the regular Pilot Powers. LETS HEAR WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY.....FROM EXPERIENCE PLEASE!!!

I switched out to the Pilot Powers 2CT and love them. They have a lot of grip in the corners, and they still have a hard enough center to last a while.

If you want mileage and grip for knee dragging, get the Pilot Road 2. It is Michelin's newest sport-touring tire with a dual-compound with softer sides for the fun parts and a harder center for the boring parts. Plus, on the Pilot Power 2CT, the softer compound makes up less than an inch of the width, so it's not all that useful.

I had not seen the road 2's yet, those actually look really good. They were also rated #1 on grip on wet roads. I think I will be get a set of those next to try out myself.
