does the stator cover fit the 08's? i know there were some engine changes made but as for covers, i don't know...

Would be best to confirm with your local Yamaha dealer, but from what I found on the online mocrofiche the rightside engine cover for the 08 is different, but the rightside oil pump cover, and the left side engine/stator cover are both the same (matching part #'s) ..
