Same here, just had a long conversation with Officer James Carroll of the chetwynd RCMP. He is doing more investigating and has asked mr. Darren Cowan to come into his office tonight to answer some questions and explain his situation a bit more.
I showed him the dozens of emails, forum threads like this one, explained how many of us sent payments long ago only to have our funds taken but NOTHING shipped, etc.
I will love to see how Mr. Cowan explains himself. Im still awaiting my refund to clear as "im not worthy to get these wheels and a real piece of shit" for doing what i did to poor mr. Cowan, and ruining his "reputation and good name"..
Another member on the WERA board, "Supah Dave" got an email from Darren Cowan. Supah Dave tried to buy.. scratch that.. gave Darren some money.. and told Dave that "paypal has made a mistake in the money he actually got in total and he is short $2,000" so it appears some may not get refunds. HERES A THOUGHT!! SEND THE GOD DAMN PARTS . Good lord, it just keeps getting better.

I just got off the phone with officer James Carrol as well. He has all of my info and I'm in the process of emailing him all of my pm's and emails from Darren.

I have finished my conversation with Const. Carroll and now am gathering all correspondence with Darren Cowan and paypal for the duration of this transaction.

Hopefully all goes well tonight and we will all see some progress.

Mr. Carroll is off duty at the moment and will be in after 8am thier time unfortunately since im in alaska its hours ahead and im not really sure what time zone there in

I just got an email from Cst. Carroll, I replied as throughly as I could and gave him my email conversation. Hopefully I can either get my money back, Get my part, or get Justice.

I tried calling James Carroll on Thursday night and left a message with some of my info... have not heard back from him... maybe I will try again tomorrow...

paypal sent me an email..."This refund will remain pending until the funds have cleared from the sender's account. You will receive an email notification once the funds have become available in your PayPal account. See Refund Details below for more information" also saying to wait 7 days...

well heres the update on my part out of the 2 payment i sent for which was the rearset 200$ and seat cowl 100$, i recieved a refund for the rearsets but for the seat cowl this is what they said...

"After careful review, we have concluded our investigation of the Buyer
Complaint described below.

We have decided in your favor, however, we were unable to recover any funds
from the seller's account. As stated in the PayPal User Agreement, recovery
of funds associated with a Buyer Complaint cannot be guaranteed."

i mean im glad i got sumin back but i am not satisfied with the outcome
