yeah, looks like paypal is dropping the ball. they were supposed to escalate my dispute yesterday, 7/21, but i still haven't heard a word from them, nor have i received any kind of refund (and insufficient funds) notice.

i hate to file a dispute with my cc because it takes forever, but looks like i have no choice.

i got my $1,600 refund. I had to wait over a week for the funds to clear his bank account (as the douch bag cleaned the money out right away, rather than wait till he at least lifted a fuckn finger to box stuff up).
I was perhaps lucky the amount was so high and he fears going to jail, as $1,500 theft is fraud. I fear many of you will have to keep pressure on the authorites collectively, as if you have not gotten an email notification from paypal that a refund is at least "pending" , Darren "the Thief" Cowan has not even initiated a refund to you...

i still have not got anything. as a matter of fact, paypal says im 350 bucks in the hole.

i had 200 bucks in the paypal account, and i filed with my CC, and when my CC refunded my money, (550 bucks), paypal took it out of my account and now im showing -350 bucks in my paypal account

im fucking pissed.

Finally got my refund for the full $470. it took 12 days after I received the Paypal pending refund email.

I'm glad this is over for me but this has definately left a sour taste in my mouth about online purchases. I'm just glad I don't have to take out 2 days and gas money to go pay a visit personally. (was seriously considering it though)

My advice for anyone who has not received anything yet is to make sure you do the same thing as a bunch of us have to receiving your funds back.

1. file dispute with Paypal
2. escalate that dispute with Paypal (can be done at the same time as first dispute seeing as there are so many people disputing this seller for multiple sale on items)
3. call Constable Carroll and give him your information, he will then email you for the correspondence between you and Darren as well as Paypal.
4. email the particulars back to Const. Carroll.

If you don't take all these steps then you haven't done everything to get your money back. The people who have received their funds back have all gone through this process so don't be lazy it's your money.

Other then that good luck to all and to those of us who got our money back, Thank goodness!

that is good news, and YES.. everyone should keep the pressure on, and a big thanks to Counstable Carroll. I would continue sending Darren Cowan emails on your progress and let him know that you intend to go all the way. Avoid name calling or threats, but every few days send him an email of what steps your taking. BigD.. dont ban Raven_r6 either, this way he can have a memorial to review every now and then as to how many riders are filing charges. without a doubt, Darren Cowan is a LOW LIFE, and I hope he ends up in jail if every penny is not refunded.

an update paypal gave me a Partial refund. it was like a 6dollar difference but i am at happy of getting the bulk of it

same partial refund here, out of $70 i only got back $63. i'm still putting the pressure on cowan to refund the entire amount one way or another.
