using the number 788-5754, i was able to trace some guy with the same number selling something in chetwynd, dawson creek, or tumbler ridge, in their newspaper.

Case 2096 Tractor, cummins 5.9....etc etc

maybe someone can call the newfound number and say your interested in the tractor and get the person's name and address? that way we at least have an address to add to this?

great job in locating that! I have noted the other number. THose involved should not hesitate to call him and find out whats up!

Guys, the Chetwynd police (Royal canadian mounte police) visited Darren Cowan over the weekend. He was home, and according to the email (although it was not very nice) Darren sent me shortly thereafter he has the items boxed up. I did NOT confirm this with Officer Carroll yet. Officer Carroll called me just before he went to Darren's home to get details, and will be back in his office Thursday. According to Darren's email, he had some "personal issues" and has the items.. well, we never disputed he had the items, just if he was going to send them or not!
He has initiated a refund for my $1,600 with paypal, but that still has to clear his bank as he withdrew the money from paypal (he had time to do that but not ship my wheels). According to local and Canada police it is a felony and he would do prison time if he does not make good on this due to the dollar amount (over $1,500).
Now.. did he have personal problems he was taking care of? i dont know, i just HOPE he follows through with my refund. I also hope he ships items that were paid for by the many others, and also refunds money he recieved in multiple for items he sold over and over like the stock wheels..He is upset i "ruined his name" but I was even more patient than some as i was not the first to discover what was going on. If Darren wants to clear up (as it wont ever be clear) his name, DO THE RIGHT THING.. refund those that have a refund coming, and deliver goods to those who's money you already have.

I have recieved emails from Darren cowan..i have a refund in process (but money still has to clear his bank so we shall see). He's on this canadian forum and posted today (raven_r6). http://www.bcsportbikes.com/forum/sh...=102346&page=3

We shall see what happens. He insists he will ship out parts and resolve claims. He was not very nice about any of it, but i could care less as long as i get my money back.

i finally got a reply from him too. he still claims he's legit and he's trying to clear up his paypal so he can refund everyone's money. i'd rather have the parts i bought from him, but i seriously doubt he actually has them.

would you mind giving me the contact info for the RCMP that you've contacted either here or through PM?
i am absolutely sick of waiting for this guy. family problems doesn't keep you from clicking a god damn button and refunding people's money.
i'd like to see this guy get charged so he learns a lesson.

I finally got an email response as well. I was told the same story about personal problems and that he was in the process of refunding my money. He told me that he did not want to deal with people like "me". What does that mean? I paid him as soon as we worked out a deal, lol. He responded back when we worked out our deal saying that he would ship my PCIII the next day. Well if that was the case the PCIII should be here by now. Now he says he'll refund my money. Well Darren I thought you shipped it already????? Anyways I'll keep you posted.

^^ he actually told me "Your ohlins shock has been shipped!" on the first couple days of july.

this was not accidental, he INTENTIONALLY ripped people off. He just didnt know the seriousness of his actions and now he's trying to act like its all our fault and he did nothing wrong.

He still wont answer my paypal claim or email me back.

NICE.... he is actually implying that he may hold up my refund because i sent him a nasty email. That was after a phone call, and about 10 nice emails wondering what is going on. Still waiting on weather my $1,600 refund comes through. ANd i "was not worthy" of the Marchesini wheels now, he is going to sell them to someone "that will appreciate what a good deal they were getting".. WHAT DEAL. I give you $1,600 for nothing in return but weeks of lost time and headache?? some deal.
