Hello, Toystore. Do you know if Arlen has not only CE but AFSCE aproved body armor in their suits? As far as the gloves go, the guys at Jennings were telling me that turkey skin has been used on their gloves. I have not heard of that but do know that designers are looking at Armadillos! lol!! Can you verify the materials? I would think Armadillo skin would have massive tensile strength. I run them over in my truck all the time here in Sarasota and they rarely burst which tells me that Armadillo skin might be great for a track suit.
Arlen Ness in the US does not have any info on AFSCE (To be completely truthful, I do not either). I assume it is a safety rating agency? Where the gloves are concerned, they are 100 Brazilian cowhide; no turkey. Interestingly, Held has a glove with stingray skin! These companies are getting awfully creative. Would you mind picking up those armadillo's? I think we should start making suits, LOL!
