Default Helmet Cam Group buy?

Would anyone be interested in a helmet cam group buy?
-
I can set one up for us if none of the sponsors are willing to do it or don't mind. I PMed BigD about it and never got a reply about me being able to do this. So I figured if I throw it out here, someone will respond.

I am working with DataToys.com and they are willing to offer special pricing and configure some custom package deals for us.

I currently use a dual cam setup using their cameras and PIP box and love it. I researched high and low before pulling the trigger. I found their products to offer the most versatility and options and to be of exceptional quality. I run mine into a Sony HC96 camcorder.

You have to either buy a DVR or have a camcorder that will allow recording inputs.

Let me know and let me know what would interest you the most and I will get them to put 1 or 2 packages together as an R6MN only offering.

Will it allow me to use my Samsung 310L digital camcorder series? I would like to add extra external lenses or bullet cams.. current ones on the market only allow conventional camcorder inputs

Yes, go to www.DataToys.com They have a very wide selection. Some of their cabling options are not on the site.

I have used their products for most of the season and have been very happy with them. I have one mounted on the front and one on the rear of my 04. Very clean install.

I am not certain. I will do a little research and see what I can find. What is the exact model? Is it 8mm, mini-dv or DVD?

You may know this already and can answer this for me, but does your camera have an AV INPUT? Almost all will be able to operate as a VCR and OUTPUT to a TV or other device. But the number of cameras that allow INPUT recording are signifcantly less.

I have a Sony HC96. It is one of the few Sony's in current production that actually allows input recording. I take mine and place it in a tank bag and run my cable to it. works like a champ, keeps it clean and protects the camera.

We are working on a single cam package and a dual cam package and pricing. Their pricing is already among the best out there, but I am urging them to make it better for us.

I am still waiting a go ahead from Och, BigD or someone with the authority that it's ok to do this before I get too deep in and shut down. Or at least some of the site sponsors saying they are not interested in doing it. I have been around here over 2 years and don't want to step on toes.
