Default Does anyone here have the Daytona 675 or Ducati 848??

Like the title says does anyone have either one of these bikes? If so what made you pick it over other bikes?

If you have a 848 I want specific details in regards to how it handle, rides, etc.

Also if you dont have either one which would you choose if given the chance? Im curious as Im thinking about selling my R6 before I go to active duty and getting something else a little down the road.

Actually, I own 3 675's. All are race bikes. Two were picked up as salvage titles (both 2007's) and one I bought new (2008 model).
I only race the bikes. No street riding. And I bought all of them because after the first race on an all stock 675, going against 750's and 636's I took 2nd place. The bike handles like a 250 GP bike, feels like a 250 GP bike and has lots of low and mid-range grunt, unlike the R6 (which I have had 2. One was an 03 and the other an 06.)

well there is a big price difference between the 675 and 848. if i could choose it would be the 848. i would like both of them though (next to the r6 in my garage).

i have an 07 and absolutly love it. mostly street riding and now converting to track. i bought mine due to the differences. i didnt want to be like everyone else with a cbr ect. not that theres anything wrong with them. the bike is thin and lightweight and just falls into corners. i love it.

Just got an 08 675 in December.

From the riding I have done on it so far, it is amazing. I love the handling.

Plus, on a more vain note, the sound is amazing when you get on it!

I have a '06 675 and love it! I got it because I was selling the R6 and wanted something different. I didn't want a liter bike and everyone and their mother has a GSXR750 in this town. Like fallen02r6 said, it's thin and light weight and is nimble as hell. It just falls into corners (especially with a set of Pilots on it).
