my guess is plenty of people will die on all major contenders.

Mainly because bikes stop so much faster than cars...people will be rearended left and right!

Lightbulb

I was thinking of getting the fastest 1000, don't care who makes it. I would seem that a Kaw 1000 08 might be the first to come close to breaking 200HP in the 1000 class. Maybe all you have to do is get a full system and a power thing and your over 200HP on a stock bike, it would seem bikes are still getting faster

Cool

KAw site has two reviews on the zx10 08, that reading 190 is off the engine, but that means it has around 170 on the back wheel that is the most of any 1000 ever and it has a real traction control to keep the front from coming up all the time not sure that stunt riders will like that idea, but its made as a track bike

it does not have "real traction control" There are no sensors on at the wheels to measure speed so how can it be real traction control? Its the saem type of traction control suzuki has had for 2 years. Also I dont think it has launch control either so it wont have any effect on wheelies.

170 at the wheel...I doubt it.

I believe the zx10 will be the high-horsepower-king this year. That doesn't mean it will be the BEST, it needs to be a complete package. Just yesterday however, I did read online that one shop got exactly 170 rwhp out of it. Again, this doesn't mean anything because we don't know anything about the dyno, humidity, temp., type dyno, etc.... Also they ran it with a 07 r1 and the chart shows the r1 only down about 7hp. I don't believe the r1 can dyno 163 stock??????????

who knows???
